    1. Equipment Damage. The customer is responsible for any damage to Backyard Blockbuster equipment caused during the rental period, including but not limited to the projector, screen, speaker system, and all accessories. In the event of damage, the customer agrees to pay the full replacement or repair value of the affected item(s), as determined by Backyard Blockbuster.
    2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver. The customer acknowledges that use of outdoor cinema equipment involves inherent risks. Backyard Blockbuster is not liable for any personal injury, death, or property damage arising from the use of, or proximity to, our equipment during the event. By booking, the customer assumes full responsibility for the safety of all attendees.
    3. Deposit & Cancellation Policy. A non-refundable $150 deposit is required to secure your booking date. If you need to cancel, cancellations made more than 7 days before the event forfeit the deposit only. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled event will be charged the full booking amount on the original event date.
    4. Rescheduling. You may reschedule your booking at no additional cost provided you notify us more than 7 days before your event date. Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the event are subject to availability and may be treated as a cancellation. Backyard Blockbuster reserves the right to reschedule any event due to unsafe weather conditions at no penalty to either party.
    5. Setup Requirements. The customer must ensure a suitable outdoor space is available, including a level surface, reasonable access to the venue, and access to a working electrical outlet within 50 feet of the setup area. Failure to provide adequate setup conditions may result in cancellation without a refund.
    6. Supervision of Minors. The customer is solely responsible for supervising children and guests around all equipment at all times. Backyard Blockbuster is not responsible for injuries resulting from unsupervised interaction with equipment.
    7. Property Access. The customer grants Backyard Blockbuster permission to access the event property for the purposes of equipment setup, operation, and breakdown. The customer warrants they have the legal right to grant such access.
    8. Noise Ordinances & HOA Compliance. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring their event complies with all applicable local noise ordinances, HOA rules, neighborhood guidelines, and any other municipal regulations. Backyard Blockbuster is not responsible for fines, penalties, complaints, or any consequences resulting from the customer's failure to comply with such rules. By booking, the customer confirms they have reviewed and will adhere to all relevant regulations governing their event location.
    9. Indemnification. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Backyard Blockbuster, its owner, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the customer's event or use of our equipment.

    By submitting, you agree to a $150 non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Balance due day-of.
